The Hash Factory is our production workshop in Switzerland. It’s here that every CBD hash is shaped by hand, by hashmakers who have mastered the techniques inherited from the great traditions – charas, dry sift, bubble, pressed, hand-rolled. No factories, no anonymous production lines: an artisanal workshop where the material is patiently worked.
Hashmaking is an ancient art – with centuries of history in Central Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and India. Each tradition has refined its techniques for transforming hemp raw material into quality hash. At the Hash Factory, we draw on these traditions to create our range, adapting them to Swiss standards and a pesticide-free raw material.
The traditional technique for dry sift and pollen. The dried material is beaten over sieves of increasing fineness (from 220 to 60 microns, sometimes less). The trichomes – hemp’s resinous glands – detach and fall through the mesh. The finer the sieve, the purer and more concentrated the result.
For bubble hash. The material is frozen, then stirred in ice-cold water. The thermal shock mechanically detaches the trichomes, which are then filtered through micro-meshed bags. A quality bubble hash must be “full melt”: it must melt completely under heat, without residue.
The Nepalese technique. The resin is rolled by hand for long minutes, compressing it, heating it slightly and giving it its characteristic texture: silky, lustrous surface, firm interior. Each ball is unique.
For pressed hash (Moroccan, Lebanese). Harvested resin is pressed into compact blocks (hot, cold or hydraulically, depending on the school). Pressing stabilizes the resin over time and concentrates the aromas.
Our raw materials are carefully selected and free of pesticides. This is the basis of everything: you can’t make a great hash with poor-quality material. We systematically test our supplies in an independent laboratory to guarantee the absence of phytosanitary residues, compliance with the Swiss legal threshold (THC < 1%), and the stated CBD concentration.
At the Hash Factory, we’re passionate. Not for marketing, for the material. We prefer to make fewer hashes, but to make them well. We prefer a fully melted Bubble Hash to a standardized product. We prefer a hand-made Temple Ball to a mechanically pressed one. It’s this obsession that earned us the 2ᵉ place CannaSwiss Cup 2025/2026, voted for by consumers.

Active in the cannabis world since 1993, Dante Kane, better known as Don99, has devoted over three decades to the study of resins, cannabic cultures and hashish craft traditions.
From the 2000s onwards, his many travels throughout Morocco, Nepal,India – particularly in the Parvati Valley and Manali region – and South-East Asia enabled him to discover different traditional techniques for making, drying, sieving and processing resins.
Passionate about textures, aromas and ancestral know-how, over the years he has developed an in-depth knowledge of the world’s great hash styles. At the Hash Factory, he now heads up recipe research and development, with a particular focus on adapting traditional techniques to CBD cannabis.
Convinced that CBD deserves the same high standards as historical resins, he has devoted several years of research, testing and optimization to replicating the textures, aspects and sensations of the great traditional hashes – despite the natural differences between the raw materials.
Curious, a perfectionist and always on the lookout for new approaches, Don99 oversees the development of every Hash Gang recipe, from the selection of raw materials to the final product profile.

At the end of the quarter, the most popular resin remains on site for the following quarter. The other two leave their place to the next three resins.
At the end of the year, the votes are counted. The best of the 4 quarterly winners officially joins the Gang – with her own character and dedicated label. Only one newcomer per year.
