Which CBD hash to choose? Charas, dry sift, bubble, pressed, pollen – the complete guide to getting started.
Before choosing: questions to ask
How much CBD? Hashes range from 35% (pollen) to over 80% (triple filtered). The higher the rate, the more pronounced the effect – and the more concentrated the hash, so only a small amount is needed.
Which texture do you prefer? Creamy (charas), crumbly (dry sift, pollen), compact (press), silky (Temple Ball), doughy (bubble).
Which aromatic profile? Woody/Moroccan, spicy/lebanese, floral/nepalese, tropical/jamaican, strong terpene/bubble.
What level of purity? Triple filtered and bubble full melt are the purest. Pressed and pollen are more traditional.
CBD hash families
Bubble hash (full melt)
Our Bubble Hash (CBD < 50%) won the 2ᵉ place CannaSwiss Cup 2025/2026, voted by consumers. Obtained by ice-water extraction, it melts completely when heated (full melt) and offers a rich terpene aromatic profile. For lovers of full-bodied flavors and technical purity.
Dry sifting
Dry sieving produces the purest hash. The finer the sieve, the more concentrated the result. Our Double Zero (CBD < 40%, the 00 tradition) and Triple Filtered (CBD < 80%, the purest in the range) embody this tradition. Crumbly texture, pure aroma profile.
Charas (friction)
A Kashmiri tradition, charas is obtained by rubbing the flowers between the hands. Creamy texture, deep, earthy profile. Our Manali Cream (CBD < 45%) embodies this family – a hash to knead between the fingers.
Le pressé (Moroccan & Lebanese)
Two emblematic traditions. Moroccan OG (CBD < 40%, Moroccan Rif) – supple, brown, woody, accessible. Red Lebanese (CBD < 40%, Lebanese Bekaa) – red, firm, spicy. Pressed hash is the most universal and easy to handle.
Temple Ball (hand-rolled)
Nepalese tradition. Our Temple Ball (CBD < 50%) is hand-rolled and polished by prolonged friction – a characteristic silky, almost waxy texture. A hash of patience.
Pollen
Fine, crumbly, golden resin. Our Jamaican Pollen (CBD < 35%, tropical notes) is the archetype – accessible, fragrant, ideal for beginners.
