The Key Steps in CBD Ice Water Extraction

1. Flower Selection — We start with high-quality CBD flowers. If the raw material isn’t there, the hash won’t be either. No shortcuts.
2. Ice bath — Flowers + ice-cold water + crushed ice. The temperature drops to between 0 °C and 4 °C. The trichomes become fragile.
3. Controlled agitation — Mechanical and gentle. The goal is to detach the trichomes without crushing the plant material (which would contaminate the hash with chlorophyll).
4. Cascade screening — Successive filtration through several bubble bags (73 µm, 90 µm, 120 µm, depending on the desired profile). Each mesh size yields a different grade.
5. Cold-drying — Fresh hash is spread out and dried slowly, away from light. Rushing this step results in a loss of flavor.
